Author Jodi Meltzer, a Sharon High School graduate and Franklin resident, will host a reading and discussion for her children’s book, “When You Lived in My Belly,” at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 12 in the Walpole Barnes & Noble, 90 Providence Highway.
Meltzer’s book tells the story of pregnancy from the perspective of both the baby and mom. The book features descriptions of the baby’s developmental milestones and tells the mother’s personal experience.
Kirkus Reviews calls the story “a reassuring book with kid-friendly explanations that celebrate the maternal bond,” and it is “highly recommended” by MidWest Book Reviews. It debuted as the No. 1 new release in a children’s category on Amazon in August.
All ages are welcome for the reading.
