The Purple Dragonfly Award is a big one in children’s literature with submissions from across the globe.
It was an honor to even be considered.
This little book that could–written to fulfill my mom’s dream, inspired by my son’s question, and illustrated by my best friend since kindergarten–is now the recipient of a Gold Mom’s Choice Award, a Purple Dragonfly Award, and dozens of incredible reviews from respected sources, including the hypercritical Kirkus Reviews.
It still seems impossible!
